2010 Broad Ripple Art Fair |
![]() This weekend is the 40th annual Broad Ripple Art Fair. The popular event was established in 1971. It attracts more than 25,000 visitors and is the largest annual fundraising effort on behalf of the Indianapolis Art Center (all proceeds directly benefit the Art Center). Location for the fair is the the Indianapolis Art Center and the North Side Optimist Opti-Park, located at 67th Street and College Avenue in the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District. The fair is juried and somewhat exclusive (only the good stuff). It will have works from more than 225 artists as well as live bands and food. Children under 3 get in at no charge but everyone else will need a ticket. Weather should be great for the event and the IBJ is expecting a boost in attendance because of the good weather and additional sponsors. More info can be found on the Indianapolis Art Center website. Don't miss this great Indy tradition! |
